The Blog:

I want us to have a safe space to talk about REAL life - not only the “fit for social media” content, but also the dig way deep and get down into the trenches with one another conversations - the conversations that are a little raw, fully transparent and that may require a good bit of soul searching.  We all need that from time to time. Every day, we face a world full of people who have expectations of us: our bosses, spouses, children, extended family members and sometimes even that lady at Walmart who grumbled because your cart was in her way just a little too long. The moment our feet hit the ground, we are going and doing for others, and far too often, we forget to take care of ourselves. Carrying the weight of all these expectations day after day can feel overwhelming, exhausting even, and if you’re worn out by other people, how will you be able to open your doors and show genuine hospitality to others? How can you give someone else a cup of water if you haven't been to the well yourself? If you were raised like me, there were several topics of discussion that just weren’t fit for the dinner table. I want to change that because I believe the very best, life-altering conversations occur when we're surrounded by our loved ones, encouraging one another to be the very best versions of ourselves that we can be.

I'm Laura, creator of Galloway Grazes. When I'm not working on a new recipe, you might find me hanging out with my husband (a.k.a. my favorite man on this planet and the real mvp of what I do), crafting in my woodworking shop, playing my guitar (or piano or banjo    ), and burning up the roads to go visit my family that lives two hours away from me. On the weekends, you'll find me snuggling up with the two cutest kiddos this side of Heaven.

Out of all the walks we've taken, this one is my favorite.
